What was the challenge?

Aztek, one of South West’s leading Managed Service Providers (MSP), was undertaking a website redesign and wanted to simplify and refine their messaging.

What was the solution?

I initially worked with Aztek to establish what direction they wanted the new website to head in. As well as talking about their inspirations, I used my detailed brief documents to gather information such as tone of voice and target audience. We successfully used Slack to discuss new ideas and revisions.

What was the result?

Aztek initially approached me to review and tweak their existing copy. However, we quickly established a great partnership and I went on to write all the copy for their new website, including blog posts and case studies. I continue to help Aztek nurture their website with new engaging content.

What was the challenge?

Total Group, an IT support company based in Hertfordshire, needed a freelance SEO copywriter to increase the quantity of content they were putting out to improve their local search ranking. They also commissioned me to write the web copy for their brand new website.

What was the solution?

I wrote a number of blog posts for Total Group on topics such as Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft Teams and Zoom, and Multi-Factor Authentication. For their new website, I wrote case studies, PPC landing pages, the Homepage, About, Services pages and more.

My blog posts positioned Riviera Networks as a thought leader in emerging technology. For example, ‘what3words: 3 Words the Wiser’ explained how location sharing was being taken to a whole new level. And ‘Why Artificial Intelligence Should be Welcomed in Business’ debated whether AI in the workplace was something employees should be embracing or rejecting.

Netstar IT Support, one of London’s leading IT support companies, required a freelance blog copywriter to help drive traffic to their website.

What was the solution?

I researched and produced a 2000-word article on Windows 10 Tips and Tricks. The blog posts included an interesting heading, easy-to-read subheadings and a strong call-to-action.

This long-form article provided Netstar IT’s clients and prospects with bite-sized, non-technical tips, plus advice on how to make a habit of using them. I also worked alongside Sarah to help determine what screenshots should be used to support the relevant copy.

What was the challenge?

Westway IT, an IT support company based in Gloucester, wanted me to rewrite their Homepage, About page and Social media intros so they could connect better with their target audience.

What was the solution?

For Westway IT’s homepage, I focused on improving the value proposition, call-to-actions and crafting benefit-driven copy. For the About page, I wanted to establish an interesting story about Westway IT’s founder, John Fisher, who was a runner up in the 2009 UK World Skills competition.

Westway IT now had a website and social media descriptions which effectively showcased John’s family-like services to his target audience of small and micro- businesses.

Travel Four Seasons, a travel agency based in Hemel Hempstead, wanted a travel copywriter to write numerous travel blog posts to boost their content marketing efforts.

I used my extensive travel knowledge, research skills and creativity to write articles such as ‘3 days in Athens’ and ‘5 ways to soak up Seville’.

What was the challenge?

Union 10 Design needed a freelance digital copywriter to write and manage regular blogs and social media posts for one of their clients - The Flooring Co, and their subsidiary, Polished Concrete Co. The well-established firm of contract flooring specialists wanted to significantly increase their social media presence and content creation.

What was the solution?

Using a combination of existing resources provided by The Flooring Co. together with my own research, I write, schedule and post social media posts for LinkedIn and Instagram on a monthly basis, as well as several SEO friendly blog posts. Some months are themed to relate to the seasons, trends and projects The Flooring Co. have been working on.

The easy-to-digest, informational social posts have resulted in increased followers and engagement on a monthly basis, whilst the blog posts have provided the audience with more in-depth guides such as ‘How to keep your floors clean during Covid’, and ‘5 benefits of sanding floors’.
